What is the biggest difference between high school and college?
At college if I want something done I have to do it...like meeting with advisors and getting information. Also if I miss a class the professor does not care and it is up to me to go to class and make the effort
What is easier high school or college? And why?
In terms of classes, college, because you have more time to do your work but at the same time the work load is killer. In high school, you have pretty much the same classes everyday from 8-2 or whatever straight. I have made my schedule to have some pretty nice breaks and go to what I want. I am not a morning person so I made all mine later in the day. And I chose the professors I wanted.
Now that a year has gone by what would you suggest to incoming freshman. Things that you did, didn’t do, would change.
Stick with it, when I first got here a lot of my friends had a hard time getting into it because they didn’t know anyone, but everyone is in the same boat. You have to make the effort to make friends, a lot of people find it hard to fit in at first and really miss home. I know a few people who went home because they never got used to it. Some people aren’t made for it but you’ll never know if you don’t try.
